In the first six months of 2025, the ONDE Group achieved the revenues of PLN 372,8 million and improved its gross margin on sales by nearly 30 percent year-over-year, exceeding PLN 42 million. The Group also develops its activities as a developer and acquires new projects, expanding the portfolio of own RES projects to ca. 1.8 GW.
In the 1st six months of 2025, one of the largest the construction and developer companies in the RES sector in Poland generated the revenues of PLN 372.8 million, versus PLN 354.7 million in the same period of 2024 (+5.1% y-o-y). ONDE’s gross margin on sales in the 1st half of 2025 was at the level of PLN 42.5 million in total, and was 27.2 percent higher than in the first half of 2024. The Group’s profit on operations amounted to PLN 12.4 million, while after first 6 months of 2024 it reached PLN 22.7 million (-45.3 %). However, last year EBIT was strongly supported by the sale of four developer projects, for the total amount of PLN 22 million. This year, ONDE generated EBIT of ca. PLN 5 million on developer activities. In consequence, the Group’s EBITDA decreased by 28.5 percent year over year, and reached the level of PLN 19.4 million.
‘First of all, we are happy to see the improvement in profitability in RES contract services, where the margin stabilises on a satisfying level. It is a good prognosis for the coming quarters, which should be a period of a robust growth in orders in this segment. This will be supported by the progressing hybridisation of farms and energy storage projects (BESS)’ says Paweł Przybylski, ONDE President.
‘We also conduct intense works on hybridisation of our portfolio of RES projects. This builds value for potential investors, and for us means achieving a much higher margin on sales of these projects in the future. In the last quarter we expanded this portfolio by over 0.5 GW, what is important, in wind projects of a great potential. Currently, our portfolio of RES projects covers ca. 1.8 GW, including over 328 MW with connection conditions’ adds Marek Marzec, ONDE Vice-President responsible, among others, for developer activities.
In next months the Company would like to sell new projects from its own portfolio of the potential exceeding 200 MW, preferably in the develop-sell-build (DSB) format, i.e. together with a contract for the farm construction.
‘We are conducting talks with several interested investors’ informs Marek Marzec. ‘If we are successful, the company will get a robust cash infusion, which we can use also for acquisitions’ he adds. ‘We plan to start 2026 with the portfolio of at least 2 gigawatts.
In the RES contracting sector, at the end of June 2025 ONDE’ portfolio of external orders was worth about PLN 611 million. This level is similar to the one in previous year.
‘What is important, our portfolio of orders is, first of all, safe and profitable, as proven by results of the first half of the year. We also look for opportunities outside Poland. We have already acquired the first contract in Germany, where we are constructing a yard near Rostock for storage of turbine nacelles for the Nordex Group, one of the largest manufacturers of wind turbines in the world. To diversify our operations, we also offer storage systems in the contracts market, and this area will definitely grow’ lists Paweł Przybylski.
