The listed Company establishes a company in Romania. It will compete there for contracts for construction of wind farms, PV farms and energy storage systems.

The ONDE Group, offering contractor and developer services, successively expands its operations outside Poland. Recently, ONDE GmbH has won its first contract in the demanding and competitive German market. The task involves construction of a yard of 18 thousand sqm in Rostock, Germany, for storage of turbine nacelles. Now the Group has established a company in Romania, where the RES market is developing robustly, and is to grow at the rate of over 20 percent a year in the nearest future.

‘In recent years, the Polish market has become slightly too small for us, so we started to look for opportunities in other interesting European countries. We already have some successes; we hope to continue the cooperation with our partner, the Nordex Concern, in Germany. In Romania, the person responsible for development of our operations and acquiring contracts will be Bartosz Sobolewski, who has recently joined our Management Board’ says Paweł Przybylski, ONDE President.

 ‘I know the Romanian market very well. The government in that country has very ambitious plans and actively supports RES development, which is currently based mainly on hydro power plants. WF and PV plants have a share of several percent in the country’s energy mix. However, according to current assumptions, it is to increase significantly by 2030.
